• 1st WOW - 2009 WHAT'S ART CONVENTION will have workshops on the 'business of art' and 'how to sell art' as well as sessions on making art for schools, and community murals, and finale events Sunday in Pioneer Women's Park. Volunteers, co-sponsors, exhibitors are being sought. • 2nd WOW - For School Children throughout Southern New Mexico, please distribute this FIND WHAT'S ART Treasure Hunt. • 3rd WOW - UNIVERSITY STUDENTS CAN DO - Students can sign up for Masters or PH.D. seminar (Story Research) to develop the What's Art Convention - MEETS: 2:35 to 5:05 PM on Tuesdays in Business Complex 204 starting Aug 25th. • 4th WOW - GOOD NEWS!!! The Anthony, NM Womens Intercultural Center will come to WHAT'S ART convention. They want a
  1)booth, they will bring
  2) dancers, singers and modern dancers
  3) Mary Carter is the excecutive director.
  4) She is connected to Anthony, NM and Berino, NM economic development groups. 5) She suggested that she would do a workshop on Saturday. She would like to talk on the the economic impact of the arts in a community. I told her that we needed her. 6) She has all sorts of publicity connections with El Paso.
